About Us – As a professional with a degree in Geology, graduating in 2012, I decided to pursue further studies in tourism and hospitality, a field that had always interested me. By 2014, I had already established myself as a local freelance tour guide, working with both local and foreign travel companies to showcase the beauty of Ethiopia to visitors.

During my time as a tour guide, I had the pleasure of working with a group of incredibly talented individuals. We shared a passion for travel, and it wasn’t long before we began discussing the idea of starting our own tour company. By late 2016, we had founded Great Ethiopian Tours, believing things can be done better plus to accommodate our foreign travel agencies with a legal bill while also supporting our local communities.

Today, our company is thriving, Great Ethiopian Tours Team of reliable and responsive management, well-maintained vehicles, informative + passionate tour guides, and highly experienced drivers ready to make your Ethiopian plan come true.
